A useful proposal.

  • Names the buyer or sponsor and the people affected by the outcome.
  • States the decision or deliverable, not a broad theme.
  • Provides a budget range, timing constraint, and evidence of success.
  • Separates public information from material that needs a private channel.

What happens first.

Most accepted projects begin with a paid definition sprint. The sprint narrows the problem, tests feasibility, records risks, and produces a brief that can be priced and staffed without wishful thinking.

Execution begins only after scope, acceptance criteria, ownership, payment schedule, and contributor terms are written down.

Public intake limits.

GitHub proposals are public. Do not include trade secrets, security vulnerabilities, personal data, unpublished research, or confidential client material. Describe the non-sensitive outline and note that a private follow-up is required.
